OMV Srbija d.o.o. (hereinafter referred to as "OMV") will always protect and maintain your personal privacy. This policy describes how we collect, store, use or disclose personal information that you provide by filling in and sending your feedback through its website www.omv.co.rs, by email and by phone.
In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", nos. 97/2008, 104/2009) (hereinafter referred to as "Data Protection Act"), specifically Article 15, OMV hereby informs you about the following:
1. Purpose of processing:
- Monitoring and dealing with complaints and / or suggestions made by you through our website, by mail and by phone;
- Sending responses to your suggestions and complaints.
2. The type of information collected
OMV collects and processes personal information to better serve you and respond to your requests and complaints in order to improve your experience and interaction with OMV. Such collection is done with appropriate notice and consent, along with required filings and authorizations with data protection authorities, where required.
Personal information collected and processed by OMV are as follows:
name, sex, nationality, phone / fax, address, e-mail, and voice where appropriate.
3. Who has access to personal information?
OMV will not share the personal information you provide us with a non-OMV third parties without your permission, unless to: (i) respond to duly authorized information requests of police and governmental authorities; (ii) comply with any law, regulations, subpoena, or court order.
Personal data provided may be disclosed, maintaining all the appropriate security measures necessary to maintain their privacy, to the following recipients:
- Legal Empowered of the operator;
- Contractual partners of the operator;
- Other companies in the same group with the operator;
- Central / Local government;
- Local providers of goods and services;
- Insurance and reinsurance companies.
4. Security of personal data collected
OMV takes seriously the trust you place in us. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of the information, OMV utilizes reasonable and appropriate physical, technical, and administrative procedures to safeguard the information we collect and process. OMV retains data only as required or permitted by local law and while it has a legitimate business purpose.
When collecting personal information we use a variety of additional security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The personal information you provide us is stored on computer systems located in controlled facilities which have limited access.
Security policies are applied together with employees and work procedures including inspection and audit to protect the personal data collected under the law in force.
Access to personal data is restricted to people directly involved in the investigation and response to complaints and requests made by you. Your data will be stored in a computer system dedicated to completing this work.
5. Access to and accuracy of your information & legislation
OMV strives to keep your personal information accurately recorded. We have implemented technology, management processes and policies to help maintain data accuracy. OMV provides individuals with reasonable access to personal information that they provided to OMV and the reasonable ability to review and correct it or to ask for anonymization, blockage, or deletion, as applicable. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act and in accordance with our privacy policy.
According to the Data Protection Act, you have the right to copy, access and modify the data, the right request deletion of the data, temporary or complete cessation of data processing if you are contesting their accuracy or completeness as well as the right to appeal to justice. 6. Changes to this Privacy Statement
If we modify our Privacy Statement, we will post the revised version here, with an updated revision date. If we make significant changes to our Privacy Statement that materially alter our privacy practices, we may also notify you by other means, such as sending an email or posting a notice on our corporate website and/or social media pages prior to the changes taking effect.
